Feature Your Meezer on Halloween!
Hello, Everyone!
Just to have a little fun, we thought we’d give you the chance to get your beloved meezer featured at the top of our facebook page all day on Halloween (October 31, 2013, in case you were wondering. Lol).
Before we go any further, for purposes of legality and so that everyone understands exactly what’s going on, we need to call your attention to the Official Rules listed at the bottom of this page. Please take a moment to read them.
The long and short of it is that we want everyone to play nice and have fun! We will be doing this kind of thing again more than once in the future, so even if your kitty doesn’t win this time, you’ll have another chance!
With that said, let’s get to the fun and games…
So, how do you enter?
- Go to our facebook page and click on the tab indicated by the big, red arrow in the image below:
- From there, if you haven’t already liked our page, you’ll come to a page that says “Step 1” and asks you to like the page. Obviously, we want this offer to be something for our community members who all want us to see their adorable kitties (we want that, too 😀 ), so you need to be a part of the community to participate.
- After you like the page (or if you already have), you’ll come to a page that says “Connect“. This will sign you up for our weekly newsletter. To read our Privacy Policy, please click here.
- We’ll randomly select a winner and send notification by email (facebook terms of services prohibit us from notifying anyone on facebook itself). The winner will email us their picture in return (please see the rule below for details).
- That’s basically it!
What Does the Winner Get?
The winner gets their kitty’s picture “stuck” to the top of our facebook page all day on Halloween (please see the rules below for details).

- Anyone 13 years or older is eligible to participate (as this is the age threshold for being a member of this community and as no cash prizes or prizes with any cash value are being awarded, offered for award, or implied).

- Entries must be received by 11:59 pm MST, Tuesday, October 29th or they will not be counted.
- To enter, participants must like or have liked the page and must connect, which means sharing their email address via the 3rd party entry application connect functionality.
- Selection of the winner is subject to the sole discretion of the owner of the http://facebook.com/welovesiamesecats community page. Selection will be made according to a randomizing algorithm built into the 3rd party software employed for entry and the sole discretion of the owner of the http://facebook.com/welovesiamesecats community page.
- There is no cash value associated with winning this offer.
- The winner of this offer will have the opportunity to have a single picture of their cat or cats featured via the “Pin To Top” capability on the “Highlights” page of the http://facebook.com/welovesiamesecats community page.
- The winner will be notified via email.
- The owner of this facebook page has final say on featured picture selection.
- No picture that is lascivious, offensive, rude, disrespectful, racist, cruel, violent, hateful, or otherwise distasteful to the owner of this page will be accepted.
- No copyrighted material will be accepted.
- The picture must be of the winning participant’s own cat.
- The winning participant’s picture submission must be received by email at gremlin@siamesecatspot.com and approved by the facebook page owner no later than 12:00 pm (noon) MST, Wednesday, October 30 2013. If it is not received as an attachment at the specified email address by the specified date and time, then the picture will not be considered or posted.
- Only one picture will be posted and “stuck” to the top of this facebook page, no later than 12:00 am (midnight) MST, October 31, 2013.
- The posted picture will be “unstuck” from the top of the facebook page no earlier than 12:00 am (midnight) MST, November 1 2013.
- Disputes will be resolved via email with an apology for any error legitimately apparent to the owner of this facebook page. No compensation will be provided — but please know that this offer is being made with the sincere intent of conducting it as fairly and openly as possible. It is our earnest intent for this to be fair and fun!
