World Cat Day August 8!

World Cat Day, also known as International Cat Day, was founded in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW). It is celebrated on August 8. Sadly, there is no longer any mention of this day on their website, though it is a fantastic resource for issues surrounding animal welfare.

Of course, around here EVERY day is World Cat Day, but this is a chance to tell your kitties just how extra-special they are! Now all we need is a WORLD MEEZER DAY!
